Weight Loss & Wellness Center
LOSE WEIGHT. FEEL BETTER.
Don’t be fooled by claims that there is one weight-loss solution that works for everyone. There’s no magic pill or treatment. Weight-loss management is a serious matter for those suffering from unwanted pounds. At WeightSmart MD, we’re here to listen and help you achieve your personal weight-loss goals.
SMART DECISIONS
The WeightSmart MD team wants you to make smart decisions that lead to effective changes in your “way of life.” Our experienced staff understands that your commitment to a weight-loss diet is a life-changing event. Not only will we help you get the weight off — we’ll help you keep it off.
LONG-TERM PLANS
We consider getting you to your goal weight only the first step of an overall weight-loss plan. Our weight-loss clinic in St. Petersburg is designed to help you keep unwanted weight off and establish healthier habits. Once you reach your target weight, we invite you to come back regularly for weekly or monthly weigh-ins at no cost to you. This will help you stay accountable and focused on your long-term plan to manage your weight.
FULL-TIME SUPPORT
When you choose us as your weight-loss clinic, you never have to go it alone. We do not believe in using an answering service, so a staff member will always answer when you call our office. The entire WeightSmart MD staff is here to support you when you need it the most. Further, Dr. Roberts will always encourage you to speak openly about your weight-loss program during your appointments.
PERSONALIZED SOLUTIONS
Your custom WeightSmart MD weight-loss diet will consist of high-protein, low-fat foods. During the introduction phase of your program, you will be on the “very low-calorie diet” (VLCD) and will not be able to consume sweets. Once Dr. Roberts determines it is time for you to begin the post-induction phase of your low-glycemic index diet, fresh fruits and vegetables will be added to a list of approved foods. As you begin to lose weight, both you and Dr. Roberts will gain a better understanding as to what is working for your body, specifically (and what isn’t!).
